The key functions of the Placement Cell include:
- Collecting Student Information: Gathering resumes, phone numbers, and email addresses to compile a comprehensive database of student profiles.
- Online Database: Maintaining an updated list of student profiles on the college website for easy access by potential employers.
- Job Arrangements: Facilitating job placements for senior students by reaching out to prospective employers, fostering good relationships with them, and establishing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) when necessary.
- Labor Market Assessment: Assessing the demand in the labor market to ensure the supply of skilled manpower aligns with industry needs.
- Job Placement Fair- Organizing job placement fairs to connect students with potential employers and facilitate job opportunities for graduates.
- Publication: Producing a placement magazine that provides information about potential employers, job opportunities, and guidelines for securing employment.
- Assistance with Overseas Opportunities: Assisting students in finding and coordinating communications for overseas job placements, including guidance on joining overseas job sites.
